[Food Factory Expansion and Renovation Project Case Study] Cooked Noodle Factory (Convenience Store)

The building is intended for use as a factory for manufacturing cooked noodles! This is an example of design work carried out with the goal of securing the scale for expansion.

Here is an example of a food factory expansion and renovation project. In response to the revision of the Building Standards Act regarding the handling of extensions, we aimed to secure the scale of the expansion by applying the old law during the design process. The manufacturing flow involves storing raw materials on the first floor, transporting them to the upper floors, producing noodles on the third floor, boiling them on the second floor, adding toppings, and sorting on the first floor, creating a flow of "from bottom to top" and "from top to bottom." The relationship with the existing structure, the equipment for chilled production, and the architectural specifications were key points in the design. [Project Overview] ■ Location: Saitama Prefecture ■ Structure: Steel structure, 4 stories above ground ■ Area: 8,542 m² ■ Completion Year: 2009 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] System Building Processing Factory (Tochigi Prefecture)

Introducing construction examples of factories designed with K. Wall, featuring a design that allows for expansion!

We will introduce examples of "system construction" that allows for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the purpose and size of factories and warehouses, as well as regional environmental factors, achieving short construction periods and low costs. In a processing factory located in Tochigi Prefecture, K. Wall was adopted. The design accommodates a ceiling-mounted crane and allows for expansion in the gable direction. This factory manufactures "precision drawn steel pipes" and "roller cores for OA equipment." 【Construction Example】 ■ Completion Date: June 2012 (Heisei 24) ■ Location: Tochigi Prefecture ■ Total Floor Area: 1,287.0 m² (389.31 tsubo) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
